What is a "Board Book". I tried to list a hardcover mystery book and it came up as a Board Book.  so I am curious what  that is.

Ok never mind I got a reply on the other question about the ISBN's not matching about what a board book is. Guess its just another way of saying hard cover.

Just not my evening, tried to list 4 hard back books and one kept coming up paperback and one said Board book, well, at least 2 of them posted no problem...lol..

Thanks for the fast reply

I think  that booktype is for cardboard children's books.

Thanks, but its not a childrens book and doesn't have card board pages. Just a plain old hard back mystery book. so I will have to list it without an ISBN.

thanks.

When it's an adult book, it means that it's a hardcover whose cover has the same glossy, printed image that is on the dustjacket (if any). Basically, they look the same with or without the dustjacket. I tend to find them on UK-published mysteries.

All board books are hardcovers, but most hardcovers aren't board books.
