The book Twilight is the first book in the series but you will have to put it on your wishlist because over 500 people are wishing for this book. here is the link to the book on PBS. www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/140779-Twilight

I'm around number 175 wishing for this book.    I'm giving in and buying on Amazon for $6.....

I would buy it. Since it's a yound adult book the paperback copies are cheap. And now you can by the movie-tie-in edition, I think. But I must warn you....if you buy it, I'd go ahead and get book 2: New Moon. It's a very, very addictive series. As my icon suggests...=)

By the by....I got twilight via PBS and I'm so in love with the series, I can't bare to part with my copy. So I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I would suggest trying walmart.  Ours has the book for aound $7, which would save you on shipping and handling.  They also have Eclipse, the second book for under $10.  I bought a copy for my classroom library and am going to eventually get a second copy, I can't keep it in the classroom, it gets checked out the day it gets back.

I was lucky and grabbed the first 3 books on Frugalreader - still waiting for the 4th one to come along!    I'm planning on keeping my copies too.  My daughter is 11 and I think she's still too young to read it (although several girls in her class have read it ~ I know she would have nightmares :-)!) but I think I'll hold them for her.

There are several copies on ebay too......maybe you can find all the books from the same seller and save on shipping!

I agree, buy it at Wal-Mart or somewhere. You may not get it on here for years as everyone keeps their copies.

I know that I am like number 265 or so on the wish list for it so I'm buying it too. Good luck.

I got the first and last books on BookMooch...because there is no line like here...and if you check the Paranormal Forum...there is a thread of October Wishlist Books Available...people post that they have the book there a lot..and if you are quick enough you may get it.  I managed to get the second book there....still need the third though! lol.

Eclipse isn't the second book. It goes as follows:

New Moon

Breaking Dawn

In the mean time while you're waiting for twilight, I'd recommend "Dead until Dark" by Charlaine Harris (there's a wishlist, but it's much shorter)
