This is a very highly Wish Listed book so you'll need to add it to your WL. The paperback version's WL is probably moving faster then the hardback, because it's cheaper.

All versions are on my WL...the hardcover has most wishers (over 600) but is also moving much faster than any other line.

I see you put it on your wishlist a couple months ago. You'll have to wait for it since you're not allowed to ask for a wishlisted book and you can get in trouble for doing so.

Ocassionally in this forum someone has a copy of that or another wishlisted book that they offer to the first person who PM's them. There is a thread on here for that but you are also asked to participate on a give and take level. In other words, if you're going to come "take" the wishlisted books then you have to be fair and "offer" them as well. If that's something you'd like to do then come join us.   I think that is what someone meant by having you look here.

It took me almost 4 months to get 'Twilight' & that was only because a nice member posted it to me.

If you really just want to read it...and can wait to own it...check your local library...I'm sure they will have a copy!

With the movie coming out soon, there are no copies of Twilight at my local library and the WL was entirely too long for me so I broke down and bought it at Borders last week.  I'm waiting to read it though.  I don't want to read it too fast and HAVE to go out to buy the second book in the series.  If you don't want to wait that long, go to Amazon.com.  They're pretty inexpensive there.  Good luck!

I don't know about all library systems, but popular books like that usually have 'reserved' lists as long as the wish lists here.

I was able to get all of the series through my library, in a super fast time.  Also, Twilight is being released in a mass market size if you can't wait.

Wal-mart has the mass market paperbacks now, or at least mine did yesterday!

Yes, they are. They're around $5.

Target and Walmart have the books in the series & they're pretty cheap.  This series is a keeper... you'll want to re-read them (especially with the movie coming out in a couple of weeks)!

I bought Twilight at Target the other day...it was $8.79 for the trade paperback.  I am not sure it's a keeper for me, but I liked The Host so much I wanted to give it a try.

I also picked up a copy of Twilight (didn't want to be left out). I spent a few extra bucks on the nice-looking trade paperback, rather than the MMP which has a pic of the teenaged (or young, at least) actors in the movie on it.  I've rarely read YA fiction, but this one has me curious. I haven't tried Host yet either.

I got Twilight at Wal Mart and have read almost half of it and am wondering what is wrong with me....this book just doesn't keep my interest. Maybe there was so much hype about it that I was expecting a lot more. That's odd as I usually love a good vampire story.

Lois I felt the same way, made it about halfway through and gave up. Maybe I got spoiled by the more adult books out there, just wasn't interested in all that teenage drama.

I thought Twilight was okay, not great but a good read. For me it was New Moon that really dragged on a bit, I actually put it down and it was several weeks before I went back to it. I made myself, knowing the Twilight movie was coming out and not being sure if any of New Moon was included in the movie. I'm now two thirds of the way through Eclipse and it's my favorite book of the series so far.

Although I loved all of the books Breaking Dawn was my favorite. If you can make it that far.

Wow, I have to say I loved the books.  I took me about 8 days, but I got through all 4 of them.  I was hooked!  I borrowed the first one from a friend and a few hours later she had to bring me the rest LOL!!!!  I did nothing but my chores and read...
