Good story. Great for very young (early elementary) readers. My 4 year old enjoyed it but it was too short and simple for my 12 year old.

Since it was first published over 50 years ago, April's Kittens remains a classic cat story...
Many children understand April's dilema when her cat,Sheba, has 3 kittens. April is thrilled, until her father insists that theirs is strictly a one cat household. April must give up 3 cats but which ones? The aptly named Charcoal? Tiger stripped Butch? Sweet faced Brenda? or even Sheba?
How April eventually comes up with the perfect solution makes for a heart warming story that has appealed to many young cat lovers and will continue to delight generations of children everywhere.
