This definitely gets results.  Post your longest-sitting book here.

Mine are 2 posted the same day in Oct., 2007:

  1. A Painted House by John Grisham
  2. Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand

These 2 are also part of a 3-for-1 deal on books posted on my Shelf in 2007!

Timescape by Gregory Benford has been on my shelf since last October when I joined.

I'm doing a 3-for-1 deal, but I have still got over 100 books to clear out.

I just joined a few weeks ago.

My oldest are both from 2/13/08:

What Ever: A living Novel -- by Heather Woodbury (1 of 2 copies in the system)

Devlin -- by Erin Yorke (historical romance)

I'd gladly do a 2 for 1 deal for one of those books and one on my shelf (or for those 2 together).

Ah-ha. I finally got the resort to work. I was being silly.

Currently running a deal on my shelf--the more you order the better the deal. See my sig for details.

http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780060802912-Art+of+Loving

Art of Loving by Erich Fromm

The Art of Loving has helped hundreds of thousands of men and women achieve rich, productive lives by developing their hidden capacities for love.  An astonishing frank and candid book renowned psychoanalyst Erich Fromm, it explores the ways in which this extraordinary emotion can alter the course of one's life.

Most of us are unable to develop our ability to love on the only level that really counts-a love that is compounded of maturity, self-knowledge, and courage.  Learning to love demands practice and concentration.  Even more than any other art, it demands genuine insight and understanding.  In this startling book, Fromm discusses love in all aspects:  not only romantic love, so surrounded by false conceptions, but also love of parents for children, brotherly love, erotic.
