How sad!  And disappointing.  RIP, Arianna and Adelia.

Didn't she have one more Adelia book written?  I seem to remember that she did, wasn't it supposed to be released this spring?

I checked quickly here and there is nothing in the PBS system. And I didn't see anything on her website.

Oh, I'm shocked!  I just saw this on EC's facebook page.  How sad.

What a terrible loss! She was definitely too young to die! I can't imagine what her family must be feeling. I find it so sad when such talented people die at such a relatively young age. They have so much to offer us and then - poof! At least she leaves quite a legacy behind!

I didn't know that Ariana Franklin was a penname for Diana Norman. Have I been living under a rock?

What a loss. My heart goes out to her family.

That is really sad. I wish her estate would have her Diana Norman books re-published!

Oh, how sad - especially for her family but also for her legion of fans. I wonder I too enjoyed her books, and I was certainly anxious for more.  I can't believe she didn't at least have the next Adelia installment started.  Perhaps she left enough for someone to finish.  Such a loss.  I loved her portrayal of King Henry II and Eleanor of Acquitaine as well.  Definitely some comic relief!

I have a couple of her Diana Norman books on my shelf.

According to this article, she finished one more book before her death:

I love this description: She was beautiful, witty, highly intelligent, quirky, stubborn and always immense fun to be with

Does that sound like a certain medieval pathologist we know and love?
