Search - Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages (Left Behind, Bk 11)

Tha battle of Armageddon takes place in the possible future that Tim LaHaye created in his Left Behind series. Though I like this series, I find that the books drag on and on until the last 100 pages, then the story takes off. Kind of like a Stephen King novel. There were some real surprising twists in this story concerning certain characters. The cliffhanger ending makes me want to rush and read the next book.

The scattered Tribulation Force is drawn inexorably toward the Middle East, as are all the armies of the world, when history homes in on the battle of the ages.

During the last year of the Great Tribulation, safe houses are no longer safe, friends and loved ones must commemorate two lives in one memorial service and the cast of characters dramatically changes.

By the time of the war of the great day of God the Almighty, homes have been uprooted, new alliances forged, and the globe has become a powder keg of danger.

Except for those already in Petra, everyone has been roced to relocate as Antichrist ratchets up the ante in the World's most treacherous game. New love is sparked, recent love is formalized, and old love is aggrieved wihle millions gather for war.

Who will be left standing when the battle leaves the Tribulation Force on the brink of the end of time and the Glorious Appearing?

This was a great read.

I have really enjoyed this entire series. There are other authors out there that write better, but the fact that these books are based on the Bible makes up for that. I love having an image in my head of how the book of Revelation works. This book has been harder to get through than the rest of the series, not because of the writing, but because of the events that happen in this part of Revelation. This is where it gets ugly and you're glad you are saved and will be raptured before any of this happens.

Love this series.
