I just finished "The Raid" and found it a fairly decent read. Has anyone read any of his other books and does any one of them really stand out? Thought I might try another book by him if I can find one.

Do you have any more information on this author?  I've looked at SYKM and Amazon as well as my local library and I can't even find the author.

All I could find out was that he was born in Australia in 1926 and started out creating comic books, the most notable one being "Captain Atom".  After his retirement he started writing thrillers.

The book list includes:

Deep Gold

Los Alamos Contract

The Raid

The Mind Breaker and,

The Tarantula Hawk.

Thanks for the info!  I actually saw one brief blurb about a Mather who writes (or wrote) comics but since that is a genre which interests me very little, I didn't pursue it.  Now that I have a list though, I might have to look  into this guy's work.  Good luck on getting your hands on more of his books.
