Two astronauts on an orbital mission go out on an EVA. Houston loses their signal for two minutes. Both return safely to Earth with no memory of the lost two minutes. Then Captain Streck dies mysteriously, as does his wife. Little by little, the other astronaute's wife begins to suspect that something happened on the sission during those two minutes, something that changed her husband Spencer into a different person, and now she's pregnant with something that might mean the end of us all . . .
Also a movie starring Dohnny Depp and Charlize Theron.

This was a pretty good sf/suspense novel up until the very end, when it turned into Rosemary's Baby Meets Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Excellent book! Loved it! Based on the movie, which I did not see. I sort of don't like Johnny Depp. I know, hate me. Oh, well! Kind of reminded me of a twisted "Rosemary's Baby." Good, fast read.
