I had a package that took forever to get here.  Several of my books seem to be missing in action.

My friend got word from her boss - this:

 

Main Street Checks has just discovered, and now confirmed, that there has been a major disturbance in service from the United States Postal Service over the past several weeks. We have just been told that the problem is in Atlanta which is the first point of entry for standard packages leaving Birmingham. They have told us that “some mail is moving thru”. We will update you with more information as we get it. We have a meeting with the Postmaster this afternoon. If you have an emergency need, let us know and we will reproduce the order and send it UPS (on us). Thank you for your patience…
