Sounds like fun, but I'm having trouble registering for the forum.  I might just do it on my own...I'll try for a thousand words a day.

Normally I would but am moving house and will be lucky to get 20,000 written this month :(

Going to have to wait until November to do NaNO..

There is actually a writing challenge every month of the year, just need to find the sites for them.  I know June, July and Aug as popular in the US as its summer. 

March, April and May have writing challenges too.  I did one in March and June.
