Not chick lit, but I just started The Girl Who Played with Fire- Stieg Larsson.  I've been looking forward to this one, I had to pre-order it. Hope it was worth it.

I just started/finished "Hot Pursuit" by Suzanne Brockman. I love her books. The Navy SEALS are yummy and the stories are great! Has anyone out there read it yet? 'Cause I have questions about my impressions. If you haven't read it , I don't want to give away anything.

I just finished The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It was an amazing book, and it was actually about my hometown. It was kind of cool to see familar places mentioned. Not chick lit, but worth reading. I was skeptical because I usually avoid reading books people rave about and end up reading them 2-3 years later (i.e. Secret Life of Bees, The Time Traveler's Wife). This one was definitely worth it!

I'm starting Twenties Girl tonight. I can't wait to start this one!

I finished Nicholas Sparks' The Rescue yesterday.  It was OK.  Nothing to get too excited about.  The rescue scenes were well written and when the hero started to pull away from the heroine it was very life like, but other than that, everything was just average.

I pulled 2 christian chick lit books off my shelf(didn't want to read the 2nd til I found where I put the 1st!) but I finished Dreaming in Black & White by Laura Jensen Walker and just started Dreaming in Technicolor. It was pretty good..this author has a decent sense of humor without getting all preachy and stuff though I alternated between liking the main c haracter and wanting to shake her!

I changed my mind.  I got home last night and instead of starting Sweet Love,  I picked up "The Summer I Turned Pretty" by Jenny Han.  I'm already 100 pages in and it's really cute =O)

I'm about to finish How It Ends by.... Laura Wiess. It got a lot more intense than I thought it would. Also just finished Italian for Beginners, was a good vacation read, also a little more in depth than I expected!

Shanyn -

Yes, I finished it last week! It was adorable! I couldn't put it down; I really liked the ending, though :)

I think it may have replaced Can You Keep A Secret? as my favorite Sophie Kinsella book. I was so worried it would be kind of cheesy with the ghost story, but it wasn't at all! I think it would make a precious movie!
