I am posting on YA and childrens' lit because I am trying to find out about a series of fantasy books by this author. There is the Firekeeper series and a related Wolf series. Are these more for older YA, or are they gentle enough for a younger reader? My dd is 12 and loves fantasy. I generally read books ahead of her so as to prevent her stumbling across sex scenes or intense violence. However, I was not looking forward to reading an entire series just so she could. And at the same time, I feel she is just a shade too young to get that much given to her w/o screening. I mean, a lot of series change along the way.I can't see how they could stay the same, really.

Any insight on jane Lindskold would be appreciated.
