Hello all,

I absoloutley love Lora Leigh and Sarah McCarty books but have run out of things to read! Can anyone reccommend any other authors that write similar to these two? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.

Well, Amy Fetzer is a good one, but there is not as much wall to wall sex as some. Lisa Marie Rice is a good one as well. You might give Cheyenne Mcray a try. Hers can get pretty heated. I am sure other ladies can come up with others.

Denell, Lora Leigh and Sarah McCarty are 2 of my favorite authors also--read most of what they have written.  Wasn't sure how hot you liked your books, so looked at your wishlist!  Anyway, judging from that and the fact that I own or have read at least 80 percent of the books on it, I am guessing you like some heat!  So I would recommend the Midnight Series by Lisa Marie Rice--loved them.  Shayla Black, Jasmine Haynes, Lorelei James, Maya Banks, Annmarie McKenna, Bella Andre, N. J. Walters (not quite as hot--but most are pretty good), Leah Brooke (Desire Series), Cherise Sinclair (Shadowlands series), Cheyenne McCray's Wonderland Series, Jaci Burton, Marly Chance, Delilah Devlin, Tymber Dalton, some of Michelle M. Pillow's stuff.  Anyway many of these contain menage relationships (like some of Lora Leigh's--though I still like her breeds series the best).  Cherise Sinclair's Shadowland's series is lite BDSM, but didn't seem to offend me.  Anyway, if you have specific questions about any of these authors, feel free to p.m. me.  I also know where to go when I want to get rid of some of these books.  I think I own at least 50 percent of your wishlist!

You should also check out the Den of Sin chat group under Games.  (DOS)  That is a great place to get recommendations.  They are the experts and can talk in detail about how hot and what kind of action and how much plot / romance.  They also know when erotica book games are starting.  As that is often the best way to get ahold of many of the books.

Lacey  Alexander is pretty hot too but does have some menage and some same sex though seems like it's usually just one scene and the rest is the main couple. Lisa Marie Rice is a fave of mine along with Sarah McCarty. I'm still reading Lora Leigh though ForbiddenPleasure is my fave of hers so far.

The best ever, imo, paranormal romance series is J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. Its steamy and exciting and beautifully written.

If you like McCarty's historicals (Hell's Eight), you'd probably like Diane Whiteside's Devil series:

  1. The Irish Devil
  2. The River Devil
  3. The Southern Devil
  4. The Northern Devil
  5. Kisses Like a Devil

And if you like McCarty's Shadow Wranglers series (the neck biters), you'd probably like Whiteside's Texas Vampires series:

  1. The Hunter's Prey
  2. Bond of Blood
  3. Bond of Fire
  4. Bond of Darkness

The only Whiteside book that is weird beyond belief is her contemporary "The Switch."

If you think you might like lotsa sex + lotsa emotional angst (just for a change of pace), you might like Megan Hart. Emotional like Macomber, Wiggs, Carr, but add a webcam.
