I was cruising around Amazon the other day checking out the discussion groups on random books.  I popped into one on JR Ward's Lover Mine.  This was the first book discussion I looked at for a book I hadn't read, but it had over 100 posts so I was curious.  There was a lot of stuff copied in from other sites, including hers that gives hints to what happens, who ends up with whom, that type of thing.  I can see why authors might want to send out scraps to readers to keep them interested, but I thought it was a bit too much.  I don't want to know all this stuff and I don't like to be teased.  But maybe that's just me, heaven knows I can be fussy.  :)  Just wondering, do you guys like when authors give out information on future books?  And how much info is too much?  Or is there no such thing as too much?

I do not want to know more than the author would put on the dust jacket or the back of the book.  It's exciting to know hints or little pieces of what is coming, but when people cross over to posting spoilers and getting into details about what happens it realy ruins the reading experience for me.  My main concern is just tell me when it's coming out already!!  :)
