I posted a book tonight that was on auto-request.  I didn't realize how late it was, and it's likely that the "buyer's remorse" hour passed without the person even being awake, let alone at the computer.

I accepted the request and checked the person's profile.  They haven't posted any books in two years, so I'm afraid they aren't even active anymore.  She gives a link to a website on her profile and that's no good, either.

I don't want to send out a book to someone who doesn't want it -- to an address that might not even be current.  There are 45 other people who *do* want it.

I've sent her a PM asking her to verify that she still wants the book.  If she does, of course, there's no problem.  But if I don't hear from her, I don't want to send the book.

What should I do?

I would probably send it using PBS delivery confirmation to ensure credit.  The person still had credits (or the auto request wouldn't have gone through).  They may simply be buying credits instead of swapping.

If the person had enough credits to order a book and had the book on auto request, I wouldn't worry about it.  Not everyone has books listed on PBS.
