Books on hold on your bookshelf will show whether they're wishlisted. When a book shows the green 'Wa," does that mean that the person in the 1st wishlist position has the book on auto request or just that someone has it on auto request? |

Based on what I've heard, Wa is supposed to mean that if you post it, it will be auto-accepted. It often isn't though. Last Edited on: 1/6/13 6:55 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

It means the first person has it on auto-request. |

But there seems to be some delay in updating this. Like maybe the system is updated once a day? I have often posted books that show as Wa, then had to wait.

Well, my understanding is that WA means it's auto-request, BUT some people may have a book on auto-request but not have the credit to cover it, which I think then automatically sends it to the 48 hour WL hold. |

It means the first person, but it doesn't always translate to an immediate request because the first person could be out of credits, use the Not Now button and move your request to the second person, or just turn down the offer. |

Nope, as soon as I finished reading Key Manatee this weekend and posted it, it immediately showed on my "books requested from you" tab. there should be no delay at all if the first person on the WL for your book has it set to Auto-request. |

That's not true in all cases Jeanne. Although it CAN be true, it certainly will not be the case all of the time. If the member with the auto-request has no credits, it will be converted to a 48-hour hold for them. Most of the time it will be an immediate request, but it will not be that way all of the time. |
