I thought the point of putting WL books on auto-request was so that if you weren't on line for a day or more, or had your acct on vacation hold, those books would automatically be accepted by your acct if you had the offered book on "auto-request".  I took my vaca hold off a day early and up pops a WL book I had been offered earlier in the week, then poster cancelled, so I went back to #1 and it was counting down my 48 hours which could have expired if I hadn't taken my hold off early.

If you had a credit available for the book, that sounds weird.  I'd send feedback to the PBS Team.

I've put WLed books on Vacation hold when I'm away, and if one comes up it's automatically accepted, etc.  If I have access to a computer during the time I'm away, I will send a PM to the sender letting them know I'm away and will mark the book appropriately upon my return (I'm usually not gone for more than a week or so, so there's no problem of it going lost).  Good luck.  Pat

There is definitely a glitch there if there was a 48hr hold counting down WHILE you had a vacation hold on, the book wouldn't even be offered to you if it had been converted to a 48hr Hold, the offer would have been sent to someone else. And it shouldn't have been hidden to 'pop-up" when the Vacation Hold was removed, if the WL book was in a hold for you, it should have shown as such on your main page. Did you have your account already on Vacation Hold when you changed the book to Auto? Maybe that is what caused the book to malfunction. Send in Feedback. They can see exactly what happened when on the transaction.
