Something I've noticed lately, on the home page where it lists "Available Books in Your Favorite Genres" (the key word being available here) some of the books are not available and have a WL.  I clicked on a couple of them and they were not availble to order.  I could either WL or post them.  What's up with that?  If they have a WL why are they showing up as "Available Books in Your Favorite Genres." 

Just something to ponder.  Actually I don't need to order more books, but you never know what you might be missing.

They probably weren't WL when they were posted but also were the only copy. So people like you saw them, looked them up and added it to WL because that 1 copy was already ordered. I don't know how long it takes the system to update that.

Mary, I think you're right.  That makes sense.  In the past I have ordered a book from that page and then go back and it still shows up on available page.

Okay, I look at the recently posted books every time I log in (it's a sickness).  I rarely find one that's got a WL.  Sometimes, it isn't available anymore but there's not anyone on WL for it either.  I've actually snatched up quite a few only copies of books that way.  Stuff I wouldn't normally have seen posted and requested.

AND, did you all notice that you can now EXCLUDE genres you don't want to see on your home page?  I just found this tonight; I'm assuming (HEHE) that's it's new. It's under your settings....

Karen, thanks for the tip!  I just went and excluded a whole bunch of genres that don't interest me!
