Jonathan Stuart has everything a man could ever want. A beautiful wife. A son that bears his name. A hugely successful business that provides him and his family with all the creature comforts he only dreamed of as a boy. — It is August 31, 1983, and something is terribly wrong with Flight KAL 007 out of Anchorage, Alaska. Jonathan Stuart's wife and son are on KAL 007. He must put a few final touches on a business presentation. He will join them in Seoul, Korea, only a day later, he promises.

Little Jon Stuart cries softly. His breaths come in deep, desperate gasps. "What's wrong, Mommy? "he rasps. "Did someone hurt the plane?"  "Shhh," his mother coos softly, as she pulls him close to her breast in a vain attempt to spare him for what seems inevitable.

A group of Japanese fishermen would report that at about 3:38 A.M., they saw a blinding flash of light and heard a tremendous explosion. And then only the sounds of the ocean.

After a year of stumbling through the motions; a year of numbness; Jonathan Stuart is ready to face life again. Using his substantial wealth and vast array of connections, he will discover the names of the Soviet Commander who gave the order for KAL 007 to be shot down and the Soviet pilot who pulled the trigger. He vows to do whatever it takes to kill both men. He will have his venbeance.

As Jonathan Stuart races to find and destroy his enemies, he comes face to face with God. In an explosive, climatic finale, he will be forced to make the most momentous decision of his life. A decision that will echo in eternity.
