Hi,

I am a college student studying to be a librarian; and am  in a class that's like student teaching for librarians. I'm working at a (Lutheran, if that matters) church  that wants to expand their library of children's books. However, since I'm not a Christian, I don't really know where to look. That's why I'm turning it over to all of you. Does anyone know of awards for Christian children's books, or of any websites that list Top Children's books, especially English-Spanish bilingual books?

Thank you VERY much for any help you can give!

Not sure of any that are spanish-english. My little sisters liked the Janette Oke books done for girls. I think they are called The Classics for Girls. She also did some for younger ages as well. Other than that we liked Frank Peretti's Cooper's Kids Adventure Series.  Isabella Alden does some that are for younger ages. Kind of small books but they are older reprints. Will have to check with the kids and see if they can think of any others.
