Dragonbait has to be one of my favorite characters. Even if he is a reptile. I loved the fact that he emitted smells to communicate--new twist there on "language."
This is one of those books I can read over and over. I read it back in junior high the first time. Forgot completely about it until I came across the picture of the cover on amazon. went straight to my mom's house and dug through all my old books just to read it again.

This trilogy is great! One of the best books I've read this year! Good fantasy with engaging characters.
It's a great book. I enjoyed it a lot.
