Barnes & Noble put together a list of the best Fantasy published in 2011.

I haven't read The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss yet, but everything the columns' author says about his writing is true.

None of those outright appeal to me, but I would still probably try them.

I thought I was fairly up to date on fantasy but I haven't read a single one of those, and only heard of three.

I've heard both wonderful and mediocre things about Name of the Wind.  It might end up on my challenge list for the year under "cover art I love" but "unarguably the best fantasy fiction that I have ever read" is a nearly impossible claim to live up to.

I don't have a copy of Kingdom of Gods yet but it's one I'm looking forward to.
