This isn't necessarily money SAVING, just a tip for anyone who has Blue Cross Blue Shield. They have a program called Blue Points where you enter your exercise for the day and it gives you points which you can save up for gift cards (including B&N). This year alone I've gotten a $25 Disney card, 2 $5 to CVS, and just ordered my 3rd $5 B&N card. (OK, I do exercise a lot.) They have almost all merchandisers you can think of, and hey, if you're already exercising (which includes things like house cleaning, mowing the lawn, walking the dog), why not reward yourself with free gift cards? Check your plan's web site. |

My plan (Coventry health) has something similar. In fact I have been saving up points and just cashed out three $25.00 visa gift cards. |

Hmmm I can't find the Blue Points thing... whereabouts is it? |

Hmmm, we are BCBS members, and I can read information about the blue points on the website, but I can't figure out how to actually enter info and/or get points? |

Apparently not all plans include blue points. I found mention of the program as well on the BS website but couldn't find a place to sign up. I checked with my employer and the plan I have doesn't participate in blue points. But it's a nice incentive for those that have it. |
