I just finished the book "Bluegrass"  about a girl from Kentucky that was raped and then put on Fire. If I had to rate it I would give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. The story was interesting , but while I was reading it seemed like someone was in high school that wrote it. It also is not a very thick book. It only has about 250 pages.  Has anyone else read it? If so, what did you think?

I  didn't read Bluegrass.  You told me about it and I put it on my Wish List.  Do you recommend it?

I read "A Descent Into Hell" again one of your recommendations, and it was really, really good.   I couldn't put it down!  Although I couldn't  figure Colton or Jennifer out.  Was it the drugs that made Colton a killer?  I know there was mention that he liked "Scarface" and gangsta but so do alot of young people, they don't kill people.  I think there was more to Colton.  As for Jennifer, I do believe it was the drugs and she had a friendly nature and could have trusted the wrong people.  What puzzled me was why after Colton tried to kill her  once before, would she ever be alone with him?  That doesn't make sense.  I do recommend "A Descent Into Hell"  by Kathryn Casey for anyone that hasn't read it.

I dont think Colton would have killed if he hadnt been under the influence. Abusive, maybe, but a killer, no.

I didn't get their relationship.  Did he kill her because he loved her and she didn't want to be his girlfriend or because she told him she was going to straighten out her life and he would lose a customer?  I guess no one will ever know because Colton's not saying why he did it.
