Hi everyone!

I just signed up for BOB tonight and I have 3 requests waiting for my approval totaling 23 books! Of course they have requested some of the same books. Only one person has books that I am interested in, but not in the amount that they have requested. If I deny the other requests will I get negative feedback?

Thanks,

Aimee

no, you will not get negative feedback, or you shouldn't anyway( most people understand).  No one can leave feedback until the transaction is finished anyway.  A lot of new boxers get the same books requested from thier shelves by different people. It usually levels out after the first 2 weeks.

You shouldn't get any feedback at all.  You can only leave feedback if the box has been accepted by both members.

Go ahead and cancel the BOB's you can't use. Add a pleasant PM saying you didn't find anything on their shelf that interested you.

For the last BOB you can make a counter offer for a reduced number of books. There is no rule that the quantity of books in each box HAS to be the same, so you can make any offer you like.

You can also offer a deal f(2 for 1 credit, etc.) or the additional books if you like.  The postage is pretty much already covered by the main BOB trade.
