So I got a bad book from a BOB today.  This person has only been a member of PBS for a couple months and I think I'm her first BOB transaction.  The book is cleaved w/pages coming loose.  I hate to give a negative rating for their first BOB transaction. But at the same time, I sent them a nice book.  Would you just PM them or give a negative?

Also how do you see someone's feedback history after the BOB deal has been made?

What I do is to PM the other Boxer and see if they offer to fix the problem.   If they do (credit or another booK, let's say), I give positive feedback.  So far I haven't had to mark a Negative.

Hi Mary, yes, I'm with Mary, ;-).  Don't leave a negative without giving them a chance to fix it. If they don't, well, then, you do what you need to do.  I had someone leave a 'neutral" for me once w/o PMing me to ask what happened.  It was frustrating.  I *had* made a mistake, I switched up books and gave 2 people a wrong title, but I would have been happy to own up to it and send another book or a credit so she could order the title she asked for originally. (I no longer had it, having sent to to Boxer #2. :-p)  I didn't find out what happened until I PMd asking if she was unhappy about something.   So, I think most people would like to fix the problem. :-)
