In the past month I have had 2  books that were sent to me lost in the mail.  PBS has been kind enought to return my credit to me.  I was wondering, though, what happens to the person who sent the books.  Do they get a credit or are they just out of luck?

If the sender used PBS DC or printable postage, then they also received a credit (and PBS itself is in the hole one credit).  If the sender did not use either of those services, then your credit was returned to you and the sender did not get a credit.
