I wanted to buy several books at Amazon through this site so Paperback Swap could benifit, but I could only get 1 book into the cart! 

Anyone know why?

Once you got to the Amazon site you should be able to get more than one book in the cart.   If you folllow on of PBS's links to Amazon they will get credit for anything your purchase there.  They'll even get credit for non-books just so long as you follow one of their amazon links.

Once you click the link from here, you are on Amazon's site and it should function the same as normal. You don't need to keep coming back here to click the link or anything, just keep adding over there, as long as you don't leave Amazon after you've clicked the link PBS will get commmission on everything you select.

Also just clicking on the Buy From Amazon link on PBS doesn't put the book in your cart. It just takes you to the Amazon listing.
