This is a great book for a new parent in the San Francisco Bay Area. Just like having a friend who knows all the great parenting resources in the neighborhood. I used it a TON in the first couple years of my son's life. One downside: most ratings in the East Bay are for areas near Berkeley, some parts of Oakland and Alameda ... not so much info on places to go if you live near Hayward, Fremont, etc.
