This was a touching story (I was in tears by chapter 2) of a widow who recalls the ups and downs of her marriage. She discovers letters her dying husband left for her and they help her to move on in her own life (there's a handsome neighbor next door). The babies in the story are her grandkids. Good writing about the intergenerational issues real people have to face.

This book is more about Emily's relationship with her dead husband and troubled, grieving kids than with the new guy in her life. It's not good.
