In this book, everyone is constantly telling Gracie "no" as she tries to help prepare for the new baby. In the end, Gracie cries and is sad and her daddy lets lets her help with the baby. While this book might add to a collection of books about a new baby, I prefer the message that the older sibling can help with the new baby, such as the books "I'm a Big Brother" / "I'm a Big Sister" by Joanna Cole.
