So I posted a WL book that I didn't really care for that 68 people on WL.  It's accepted right away.  Great. Except at someone point I set it down on a little table that also had a containor of babywipes.  I didn't realize that the lid wasn't on right and one of the wipes was hanging out over the side. It pressed up against the WL book all night and made a wet section on the first half of the book.  Grr. And the WL book weighs over 1lb itself.  So I'm not sure if I want to offer it as a freebie. I guess I can see if Half-price books wants it when I make my pre-move book sale trip.  It's The Forever Kiss by Angela Knight.  It's a thick tradesize paperback with a lamenated cover.  Does offering it up as a freebie with a 2 book order sound all right?

Any ideas how to minimize the damage-will taking a hair dryer or an iron on super low heat  to it make it worse or better?

It sounds fine to me.  It's a free book after all!

The blow dryer will make it worse (more fluffy like your hair).  I tried the blow dryer on my husband's MSA when it finally came in the mail soaked.  Had to order a new one from the university.

The bright side is that it's still readable and someone will want it.

They don't like wet kitchen counters, either. :-(

Go ahead and offer, the worse that can happen is no one will take you up on it.
