“My House, My Rules” by Lori Foster. Undercover cop Sam leaves a bar pretending to be intoxicated when a mugger attacks him. His brother’s former girlfriend Ariel jumps the assailant. Irate Sam orders Ariel to take him home where she desperately offers him her body because she loves him. He cannot stop himself from making love with her, but is she a lasting treasure?

“Going Down” by Donna Kauffman. Dominic visits the firm where Callie works. That night, they ride the elevator together when it stops between floors. No one else remains in the building. They discuss why her husband left her, a conversation that evolves into how to be provocative without even trying. Dominic explains that she is quite provocative to him. They make love but who knows what morning will bring.

“A Fast Ride” by Nancy Warren. Gertie hates bikers so when she hears one coming, she moves a tree limb onto the road injuring the driver. Gertie’s great niece Nell gives CPR to the unconscious man. Three different authors write three different, very steamy romantic/erotic stories.

All 3 stories are cute, but Donna Kauffman writes a great story about a woman who has lost her since of self worth. Cheated on by her pond scum husband, working 80 hour weeks, dressing so she is virtually invisible she is now stuck for the night in a pitch black elevator with successful playboy who is bored with women, and they turn up the heat and give each other what they are both lacking in their lives. It is a Hot story. Gives you hope that just when you give up on romance it sneaks up from behind and is wrapped in a smoking hot package.

Three romantic stories about those adorable bad boys and the women that fall in love with them. The first story is by Lori Foster and called "My House, My Rules." It's about a tough-guy cop (an alpha male), he gets beaten and bruised pretty badly, and winds up taking a gal home who has a crush on him. The sex sizzles!

The second one, "Going Down", is by Donna Kauffman. I didn't care for it very much. It was too long and drawn out. Most of the action centered around an elevator malfunction, but the dialogue was plodding and too intellectual given the circumstances. Again, the sex was tintillating, but it was just too long.

I enjoyed the third story, "A Fast Ride" by Nancy Warren, the best. It had a cute plot about a biker who, upon running his bike into gramma's homemade speed bump in the road, wound up in her garden on top of the green beans. Her granddaughter performs mouth to mouth recussitation, and when the biker wakes up he thinks that she's his girlfriend. Since she's obviously smitten by the guy and he has amnesia, she decides to play along. The romance was toooooo hot, and the plot took a nice twist near the end.

Definitely a good read.
