This is one of Koontz's earlier books, but is one of his finest. Husband and wife private investigators are caught up in supernatural events as they help a client who must continue to teleport himself to escape superhuman forces out to destroy him. The wife's brother, a wonderful character who has Down's syndrome, is also telepathic and provides a great counterpoint to all of the evil against which they must fight. Koontz is a master of making the unbelievable believable. A great read.

This is another standard, pretty good book by Koontz. I like to read him when I need a break from real life.

Loved this one! Like most of Koontz's novels, this keeps you on the edge of your seat! I read it in two days, I just couldn't put it down.
