A little over a year ago a friend gave me dozens of mysteries; yesterday she gave dozens more, getting to be a wonderful yearly ritual. One of the authors I'm not familiar with at all and the two books she gave me are the author's newest of many.

There's a very long backlist so I'm wondering if Katherine Hall Page is worth keeping until I can read through all the books; or whether I should just donate the two (BCE HCs).

They're OK. The serires is a bit uneven with some better than others. They read pretty fast, especially if you've just recently read the previous ones and can skim over some of the backstory.

To me they're a very light cozy.  A very quick read because you can skim the back story.  Just need to read the first. :)

They are okay. I liked the first couple but the character, Faith is annoying. Haven't picked them back up in about 2 years got bored with them.

Thank you for the feedback. I've requested the first book from the library (anal about reading series in order, trying to break the habit) and I'll take it from there. I hate getting rid of books without at least giving the author a fair shake but her backlist is huge and if the first book or two don't pull me in I'll donate what I have. Thanks again.

currently reading Christie Craig's GOTCHA! which I'm enjoying a lot
