A little over a year ago a friend gave me dozens of mysteries; yesterday she gave dozens more, getting to be a wonderful yearly ritual. One of the authors I'm not familiar with at all and the two books she gave me are the author's newest of many. There's a very long backlist so I'm wondering if Katherine Hall Page is worth keeping until I can read through all the books; or whether I should just donate the two (BCE HCs). Gail |

They're OK. The serires is a bit uneven with some better than others. They read pretty fast, especially if you've just recently read the previous ones and can skim over some of the backstory. |

To me they're a very light cozy. A very quick read because you can skim the back story. Just need to read the first. :) |

They are okay. I liked the first couple but the character, Faith is annoying. Haven't picked them back up in about 2 years got bored with them. Alice |

Thank you for the feedback. I've requested the first book from the library (anal about reading series in order, trying to break the habit) and I'll take it from there. I hate getting rid of books without at least giving the author a fair shake but her backlist is huge and if the first book or two don't pull me in I'll donate what I have. Thanks again. Gail currently reading Christie Craig's GOTCHA! which I'm enjoying a lot Last Edited on: 7/2/10 7:10 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
