Baha'u'llah: The One Promised in All Scriptures
Baha'u'llah The One Promised in All Scriptures Author:Hushidar Hugh Motlagh, Ed. D. We rejoice in receiving an invitation to a wedding or a banquet. How much more should we rejoice, and feel blessed, if we receive an invitaiton to the Heavenly Banquet (Rev. 19:9; Luke 14:15)? The first lasts for only a few hours; the second endures forever. In the Heavenly Banquet, the food is everlasting life. It is learning to know and love ... more »God, and discovering the glorious destiny He has planned for each of us.
The purpose of the Blazon-His-Name mini book series is to invite you to learn about God's greatest gift to humankind-Baha'u'llah, the Glory of God, the One promised in all the Holy Scriptures-and to catch a glimpse of the treasures of knowledge He has disclosed.
God is the Heavenly Host. He is the One who chooses the guests for His Banquet:
No one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him. Christ (John 6:65 NIV)
You did not choose me, but I chose you... Christ (John 15:16 NIV)
God chooses the guests, but He gives us the honor of making and sending the invitation cards. This book is such a card. It invites all thirsty ones to come forward:
Come! Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Christ (Rev. 22:17 NIV)
All we can do is pray for God's grace and strive to make our souls worthy of His Banquet, because:
Many are called, but few are chosen. Christ (Matt. 22:14 NKJ)
