Compton writes a good clean story, and this is no exception. It's unfortunate that Compton died when he did, because I antipated a lot more from him. Fortunately, we have now Kirby Jonas, whom critics call the New Louis L'Amour. His books are clean, not graphically violent, and the swearing is minimal.

This is Book 4 in the Trail Drive Series.
