This is a delightful cozy mystery read. Christine Bennett, suburban sleuth, whose husband, Jack, is a lawyer/policeman, travels with her husband to Israel. It is to be an enjoyable trip for Christine but one of her friends is attending a bar mitzvah for a cousin. The cousin is murdered and Christine begins investigating. I truly enjoy mystery reads when I cannot figure out who the murderer may be and this was one of them. It's a quick enjoyable read. I recommend it to those who enjoy cozy mysteries. Lee Harris is a very good story teller. She has a long list of mysteries to her credit and has won an RT Achievement Career Award.

Love this series! Actually I love this AUTHOR, both of her series. This series is very cozy, ex-nun married to NYPD detective. Although she is not a writer, Jessica Fletcher comes to mind. Christine asks questions of everyone around, cooperates with the police, goes off at night to meet suspects (while Joe babysits) and nobody seems to think it is odd. Still I love the characters. Just suspend your reality a little bit and have a great time.
