This is the Darcy and Elizabeth book... it was first called The Bar Sinister - and they wisely changed the title.
I thought I was getting another Linda Berdoll book - because I enjoyed her books so much - but I had already read this one under the newer title.
GREAT READ - loved both her Pride and Prejudice Continues books...
just a bad title and worse cover on this original version.
