My low rating is because I have little interest in the subject and haven't forgotten his support of Il Duce during the war. I am sure an English major would be much more interested.
The author benefited by help from Mary de Rachewiltz, Sanehide Kodama, and met Mr. Pound himself. This study, based on Pearlman's PHD thesis (Columbia University), addresses :the problem of MAJOR form. Previous attempts to demonstrate the existence of major form in the Cantos fell short. Practically the whole life's work of a major poet is at stake in the issue of discerning a plan in the Cantos."
