Stayed up way too late reading this book. It is so good that I just had to keep reading until it was done. Can not wait to read the third book.

Book 2 in the Lost Princesses series. I can't wait to read the final sister's story. Female character is very modern for a regency story.

Decent read- rather predictable. Good because you don't need to think a lot.

Really enjoyed this book. It is the second in a series, so make sure to read "Some Enchanted Evening" first. Can't wait for the third installment...

The premise for this book was a little silly; I liked the storyline of the first book much better. That being said, I did enjoy the 2nd half of the book and am looking forward to beginning the third in the series.

Princess #2. 1800's Scotland / England. Excellent read. Characters and romance develop nicely since they are forced to remain together throughout the majority of the book. Happily ever after ending to top it off. Recommended read for historical romance

What a fun read! I couldn't put the book down (my house is a mess lol)! Dodd really knows how to put together a good plot. It kept me wanting more.

Christina Dodd is back with the wonderful historical. A kidnapping with a wonderful twist.
Girl kidnaps boy. Girl and boy hate each other and yet have this urging pull. Love those kinds of stories!! Love-hate-Love....so romantic! I will not give the story away, but I highly recommend this read!

I toyed with the idea of giving this 1 star, but because Dodd has written books that I've enjoyed, and this one amused me in rare instances, I'm being generous. That said, this is one of the biggest wastes of time I've ever had the misfortune to read, and if I didn't need the pages for the game I'm playing I would have left it unfinished. Princess Amy is the youngest of the 3 princesses of Beaumontagne, the country she and her sister Clarice were sent away from when the people rose in revolution. Feisty and tomboyish, she has survived assassins searching for them and ended up on the English isle of Summerwind, owned by the marquess of Northcliff Jermyn Edmondson. The islanders are destitute, and to help them, Amy concocts a scheme to kidnap the marquess who she feels is responsible for the islanders' plight. It backfires when his uncle refuses to pay the ransom, and of course she ends up falling for him. Dodd's stories are usually fun, but this one was simply inane, stupid and outrageously corny. She seems to be running out of good ideas for plots, characters and witty conversation, because she can and has done so much better. Must've really needed the money.
Once upon a time...in a kingdom high in the Pyrenees, three young princesses were forced to flee the chaos in their land -- vanishing without a trace and lost to their people...until the day a courageous prince can bring each princess home.

How could such a little revenge and blackmail go so passionately wrong?
