Congratulations to Ricky Henderson and Jim Rice on their election to the Hall!

Ricky Henderson has had a long career as an outfielder, played for the Oakland A's for many years, then the Yankees for awhile, several other teams in there for bits of time.  Very speedy gonzalez ~ has a record for most steals in a season. Great guy. Was elected on his first year of eligibility.

Jim Rice from my Red Sox :) was finally elected on his last year of eligibility.  Way beyond due.  He spent his entire career playing left field for the Red Sox.  Learned how to play the Green Monster from Carl Yaztremski.  He was one of the most feared hitters in his time, 1970's to 80's.  Now works as a commentator for NESN, the station that broadcasts all Sox games.
