Bob McNair is an engineer who has applied his knowledge of hydrolics to the safe, sure handling of a bucking canoe in roaring river rapids. With his wife Edith, he has successfully competed in white water races in many parts of the U.S. He was one of the founders of teh American White Water Affiliation and of Philadelphia's Buck Ridge Ski Club and a trainer for Boy Scout Councils in the eastern states. He was a founder of America's first school for river canoeist, "The Red Ridge College of Canoe Knowledge."

But Bob is more that a top-flight canoeist and slalom competitor. He's a competent teacher and enthusiastic sharer of the skills you will need to master a thrilling sport.
