If you liked Beaches...you'll like this sequel...this continues the story and tells how CeeCee raised Nina - the child of her best friend, once Nina's mother had died (Beaches tells of that friendship and death).

The sequel to Beaches is one of the few sequels I've read that may be BETTER than the first book. This is what happened after Cee Cee takes Nina to raise her and it's a great read.

Sequel to Beaches with Cee Cee Bloom as guardian of her deceased friend's young daughter, Nina. It is the deeply moving, emotionally explosive sequel that will make you laugh and cry.

I thought this book was a good read. Both a tear jerker and comical as the Beaches was. It isn't something I would read over and over again as I did with Beaches.
