This is a fascinating, detailed look at how evolution works. By examining minute changes in Darwin's finches on the Galapagos islands, researchers Peter and Rosemary Grant have discovered that evolution is occuring hour by hour, "and we can watch." This is not light reading, but it is fascinating. You will learn more about bird beaks than you ever thought you wanted to know. However, you will never look at an animal, or yourself, in the same way again. It's easy to see why this book is a Pulitzer prize winner. I loved it!
