Topic: Is it Beatrice Small or Bertrice Small?

Why does this author Beatrice Small have a book called Besieged with this author's name ( Bertrice Small) on the cover. They're just trying to confuse me, right? |

If you look at the other books "Beatrice" Small wrote in the PBS listings, the ones with covers all have Bertrice printed on them. I'm guessing it's just a database error. It's Bertrice Small - and it isn't the only error I've found. I've stopped notifying them of this type of error. And I just found another one today. I was searching Atnette Lamb to see if there are any of her books on WL and I found that they've assigned a Charlotte Lamb Harlequin Presents to Atnette Lamb - it's in her booklis when you search on her name. Yeah, Amazon.com has the same kind of database problem with a whole bunch of books listed under Beatrice that have Bertrice on the cover. Sigh... Maybe Bertrice should change her name to what ppl expect her name to be. :) |

The PBS system collects data from other sites. Bad data in, bad data here. We can go down to Member Tools and edit the data. |

There's a lot of variations on Danielle Steel's name. I probably have it wrong here. She's the one I always use for "dummy" books when I need to mail a WL book out for a game. I post a dummy book so I can use the PBS DC. I noticed that it's spelled several different ways: Dannielle Steele, Danielle Steel, Dannielle Steel and variations thereof. |
