This is a fascinating book by one of the preeminent researchers in developmental psychology in the field of gay male youth. It is really one of the cornerstones of our current understanding of the development of a gay sexual orientation. Far from a dry psychology textbook, though, this volume consists of the many voices and their varied stories of real men. Savin-Williams has allowed young men to speak for themselves in a way that explodes our stereotypes and replaces them with real stories.
