This is an exploratory biography ... NOT a novel! If you're really an Austen fan and want to get a better understanding of who she really was as a person, this is a good book. Some might consider it to be on the dry side, but I enjoyed it.

Dry to start with.... family trees's and such. And they all have the same names! Janes, and Harrys, and Johns... etc. Still if you are an Austen fan I think you will enjoy it.

A quick Light read. Gave me a great weekend book. I would recommend to anyone that loves Jane Austen just for fun. Nothing too serious.
