I just received a book and was disappointed to see water stains on numerous pages of the book. All the pages appear there and the book isn't swollen with water. Nonetheless, the stains are unpleasant and I would not feel good about reposting this book. I plan to get back on the list for this book as I don't want to read this copy. Should I ask for my credit back? I have not marked the book received yet as I want to get opinions and want to do the right thing. |

Water damage or stains makes the book unpostable and should be marked RWAP. You have every right to ask for your credit back. By marking it RWAP you'll also go back to the #1 position in the WL line instead of having to start over at the bottom. |

No, you are not being too picky. Water/liquid stains not allowed in any form. They render a book unpostable. You are right to feel badly about the thought of reposting it because it is an unpostable book. Mark it RWAP and be strong! Water/liquid stains are my biggest peeve here. There are people who feel that if the book is readable it is postable. Unfortunately, that is not the case. |
